Welcome to Field HQ, the training ground built by Eichenberger Inspection to prepare you for the real DSA Project Inspector of Record certification — not just to pass a test, but to walk onto a job site ready.
Every Case File in this course is built from real field situations: the codes, the grey areas, and the judgment calls that separate a technically-correct inspector from a genuinely trusted one. You’ll work through Briefing Room fundamentals, subject-area modules covering Administrative, Architectural, and MEP code knowledge, and scenario-driven Briefs that teach the why behind every rule — not just the what.
This program is built around a simple philosophy: a good Inspector of Record isn’t the most conservative person in the room. They’re the one who knows the code well enough to find the legitimate path forward for a district, without cutting corners on safety. That’s the owner-advocacy approach Eichenberger Inspection has practiced since 2007, and it’s the same standard this course holds you to.
Complete every module to finish the course. Score 85% or higher across your drills, and you’ll earn the ECI — Eichenberger Certified Inspector — credential, a mark reserved for candidates who’ve shown they’re ready for the field, not just the exam.
Suit up. Mr. Eichenberger’s waiting for you in the Briefing Room.
